Pima Fashion students, in collaboration with Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, recently held the Pima Fashion Show, a now well-known and highly-anticipated evening of sustainable fashion and design. This year’s show focused on the “Elements of Fashion,” highlighting the five elements in Chinese philosophy – wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
The collaboration with Goodwill Southern Arizona began nine years ago in an effort to highlight the need for sustainable fashion, and to teach aspiring designers how to work with repurposed materials.
