WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Goodwill’s Youth Opportunity Accelerator program assists youth (ages 15-24) in taking the next step forward. By connecting individuals to hands-on work experience in desired fields, participating in interactive workshops, setting short-term and long-term goals, and more, youth are supported through the resources essential in preparing them for the workforce.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Career planning / exploration
- Resume Building
- Digital Skills Training
- Work Experience On-The-Job training
- Interview practice & Prep
- Financial Wellness Programs
- Job Fairs with Southern AZ employers
- DYS Growth Mindset Training
- Support with enrolling in post-secondary education
- One-on-One Case Management / Career Support

Oscar – Goodwill Youth Centers
Oscar is thankful he found Goodwill through his friend and has referred others who are now following in his footsteps towards preparing for their futures.

CHASE WAS FIRST REFERRED TO GOODWILL’S REENTRY TEAM BY HIS SISTER, AFTER A BRUSH WITH THE JUSTICE SYSTEM. CHASE WAS READY FOR A CHANGE IN HIS LIFE AND HE HAS NOT LOOKED BACK.
Dakota – Youth Restoration
Dakota’s time at Goodwill began as part of our Youth Restoration Project. Learning to work with his hands and build things, Dakota grew in confidence and started moving towards establishing his own independence.
