Goodwill of Southern Arizona’s 2020/21 Impact Report Is Out!

2020/21 was a challenging year for all of us but we still wanted to take the time to celebrate the accomplishments of our organization and the many amazing people we employed and served. When you stop at your neighborhood Goodwill, most people see the local retail store and donation center side of things. What they don’t see, is our workforce development staff working tirelessly to provide services and support to make a difference in people’s lives every day. From challenges like past incarceration or lack of educations to physical or mental disability, we provide individualized support to help those in need reach for their full potential. At Goodwill, we are more than just a thrift store or donation drop off. We are one of the largest social service providers in Southern Arizona and we offer employment and training in wide spectrum or role and industries. Not to mention, we really are the original sustainable social enterprise, taking gently used items and converting them into real life impacts like work and social programs. Thank you for supporting our efforts in the community in 2020/21, with your continued generosity, we look forward to another year of spreading Goodwill in Tucson and beyond!

What were some of the major accomplishments last year?

• Over $2.1 million invested into local jobs and social programs every single month!

• Over 1,034 confirmed local job placements!

• 8,500+ Visits to FREE Job Centers and Youth Reengagement Centers!

• Over 2 million pieces of clothing resold in Southern AZ. That’s over 1.4 billion gallons of water conserved!
