On March 31st we celebrate the life and legacy of César Estrada Chávez, who lived from 1927 to 1993. César was a champion for social justice and one of the founders of the United Farm Workers of America. He inspired generations through his advocacy for hardworking people who build and sustain our nation. Born into poverty and raised by migrant workers, Chávez courageously dedicated his life to improving conditions for workers across the country.
