Youth Reengagement Centers

The Goodwill Youth Reengagement Centers serve youth and young adults ages 12-24 seeking to complete their education and secure employment in the community. Our team assists them by mapping out their goals, connecting them to support services, preparing for career pathways, and gaining a sense of purpose for the future. Our four local Youth Reengagement Centers provide safe spaces for young people to learn, heal and grow. Goodwill’s trained staff offer local youth FREE guidance and support with attaining their goals, accessing critical resources and navigating day-to-day challenges.

Our Youth Reengagement Centers Offer:

  • Job readiness training, career exploration and employment
  • Mentoring and enrichment groups

Our Centers!

All of the Goodwill Youth Reengagement Centers are “hubs”, safe places for youth and young adults to drop-in, feel a sense of community, gain support and get connected with resources. The centers offer access to computers, trainings, educational workshops and social events with peers.

Staying on a positive path has never been so rewarding!

Our goal is to connect out-of-school and/or unemployed Opportunity Youth) OY) ages 12-24 with educational opportunities, career pathways and community resources. When possible, we provide incentives for reaching academic goals, receiving industry-recognized credentials, and attending workshops and community service-learning events. There is also support available to assist youth with returning to traditional schools, too!

All services offered at our centers are free. We are committed to equipping our participants to build amazing futures!

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

An Academic Tutor works one-on-one with participants ages 12-24 on homework, assignments, studying, and general math/literacy benchmarks during our drop-in hours at any of our Youth Reengagement Center locations. Ideally, this would be a weekly time commitment of 1-2 hours, which the tutor will schedule themselves depending on their availability. This position is ideal for a person looking for immediate impact in the lives of youth, but also one that will be able to build mentorship over the course of the school year.
